As ourSales Development Representative, you'll support HID's successby:



  • Following up on inbound marketing leads and identifying qualified opportunities providing appropriate levels of information at the right time for interested prospects
  • Ensuring successful follow through of sales cycle by maintaining accurate activity and lead qualification information in CRM application
  • Being responsible for educating and developing prospects leading to hand-off to RSM
  • Creating target prospects lists and penetrating key accounts
  • Calling into prospects generated by variety of outside resources
  • Identifying key players, researching and obtaining business requirements
  • Driving attendance for webinars and live seminars, and setting meetings for conferences
  • Nurturing new marketing leads by educating and developing prospects until they are ready to speak with a field sales rep
  • Collaborating with sales and marketing team members on strategic sales approach
  • Setting appointments/meetings for field sales representatives
  • Logging all sales activity in Salesforce
  • Reviewing and understanding material that was consumed by prospects to ensure that outreach is relative
  • Watching for and viewing daily tender updates, and aligning with appropriate internal contacts
  • Researching and recommending regional events that will increase the number of prospects



YourExperienceand Background include:



  • Associates degree or equivalent training and experience of working within a busy sales development environment
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in tele-sales, inside sales, or sales assistant and a demonstrated ability to understand and achieve stretch targets
  • Effective up-to-date telecommunications and written communication skills
  • Experience of working on projects and evidence of delivering to deadlines
  • Proven record of supporting sales to meet or exceed pipeline and revenue targets
  • Strong interpersonal skills; ability to work well with other team members, customers, sales, etc.
  • An outgoing team player and an excellent communicator
  • Proactive and able to get things done in a timely manner
  • Project management skills and the ability to balance multiple priorities
  • High self-motivation with a sense of urgency
  • Ability to travel as required
  • Proficient in MS Office applications, such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
  • Familiar with operating systems, such as Windows, etc.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce.com - additional experience in Oracle
  • Ability to read and interpret technical journals, specifications, international technical standards, etc.
  • Additional language proficiency
