Overview

Our Nuclear Services group is seeking a Lead Project Manager to join the team. In this role, you'll guide meaningful, complex projects from vision to reality-bringing clarity, momentum, and purpose to every step. You'll uplift teams through mentorship, spark innovation through cross-disciplinary collaboration, and build lasting relationships that drive shared success. This role offers flexibility in the following office locations:

    Kennesaw, GA
  • Birmingham, AL


Responsibilities

  • Engineering Project Management & Review: Manage highly complex projects including, but not limited to, planning, executing, and finalizing projects in the Nuclear industry according to established schedules, within budget, and according to ENERCON's project management procedures
  • Mentorship & Technical Growth: Define project goals, objectives, and critical success factors, and ensure the PM teams production align with the business goals and needs. Coach and assist other project managers and project management personnel. Develop protocols for reporting project progress on a defined time schedule
  • Business Development & Marketing: Aggressively support marketing efforts, including identification of marketing opportunities, proposal preparation, and follow up. Foster and maintain working relations with assigned clients; acting as a single point of contact for one or more assigned clients
  • Cross-Disciplinary Innovation: Collaborate across multi-disciplined teams to tackle complex projects and deliver forward-thinking solutions. Develop task lists for project deliverables and coordinate with engineering to develop detailed engineering task lists as they relate to the schedule(s)


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering from an accredited university
  • Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in the nuclear industry or PMP Certification and 12 years of applicable experience
  • Experience in Mechanical, Electrical, Structural, and Civil projects
  • Skilled in coordinating and tracking sub-contractor progress and their deliverables or milestones as they relate to overall schedule
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills with demonstrated ability to work across disciplines and teams
  • Ability to work effectively as a member of the overall team
  • Ability to initiate teamwork, exercise good judgment, prioritize projects, and provide excellent leadership to all projects
  • Ability to travel 15 - 25%; duration of travel may vary depending on project and client needs
