Overview
The Medical Education Specialist coordinates and supports medical education programs, ensuring compliance with HIPAA, AdvaMed Code, and Tactile Medical policies. This role manages event logistics, accreditation requirements, and post-event reporting to deliver high-quality educational experiences.
Responsibilities
- Process medical education and clinical service requests from the field and marketing subject matter experts as directed.
- Track and maintain accurate records for all medical education events.
- Monitor MedEd mailbox and route emails appropriately.
- Enter event details into the company database and complete post-event activities.
- Provide post-event certificates for continuing education courses and KOL events as requested.
- Provide post-event status report for Webinars, including registration and attendance, including post CE programs reporting as required to accrediting boards.
- Ensure adherence to accreditation requirements and initiate as needed for ASHA, PT, AOTA, CBRN and ARST.
- Set up event registration sites (Swoogo) and manage invitations.
- Initiate invitation based on request forms as needed.
- Maintain accurate Tactile Medical records as it relates to State PT and ASRT CE applications.
- Maintain required approval status and monthly reporting for Knowledge Center CE courses, both lymphedema and respiratory.
- Support AARC live reporting as directed.
- Maintain compliance with all appropriate regulatory requirements including HIPAA.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Education & Experience Required:
- Associate's degree or equivalent and relevant work experience.
- 2+ years' experience in an administrative role.
Preferred:
- Previous experience in a medical education role.
- Previous experience in the medical device field.

- Strong organizational, planning, and follow-up skills.
Below is the starting salary range for this position, although offers may differ based on the candidate's location, job-specific knowledge, skills and experience.
$23.89 - $31.35 / HR
