  • We're at the forefront of understanding customer behavior to guide our business strategy. The Senior Business Intelligence Engineer plays a crucial role in bridging technology, marketing, finance, statistics, data mining, and social science.
  • Working with our marketing and technology teams, you'll analyze customer behavior, provide key insights, and help shape our strategies to continually delight customers with convenient, fast, free shipping in US and international markets.
Typical Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate program features and marketing content performance.
  • Conduct statistical A/B and multivariate testing.
  • Design and maintain program health metrics and reports.
  • Respond to ad-hoc requests from business leaders.
  • Employ data mining and analytical techniques to identify customer trends.
  • Participate in strategic and tactical planning discussions.
Technical Requirements and Competencies:
  • 7 years of experience with large-scale, complex datasets.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in SQL and ETL processes.
  • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., QuickSight, Tableau, Power BI).
  • Python/R experience is a plus, especially for data analysis and automation.
  • Background in statistics, programming, and marketing.
  • SAS experiences beneficial.
  • Graduate degree in math/statistics, computer science, or marketing.
  • Excellent communication skills, both technical and business oriented.
  • Ability to work independently and drive clarity in ambiguous situations.
  • Experience in metric anomaly investigation and developing new metrics.
  • Proven stakeholder management and prioritization skills.
