Job Title: Lead / Software Engineer. Location: Richmond, VA. Job Responsibilities: Software Engineer with experience in the following technology stack: Required skill set: Python or Golang, AWS (Step functions, lambda, dynamodb) Developing web applications using frameworks like Django, Flask, or FastAPI. Writing efficient, reusable, and testable code to build server-side logic. Integrating user-facing elements with server-side logic and collaborating with front-end developers. Implementing data storage solutions and managing data interchange between the server and users (SQL and NoSQL databases like PostgreSQL, MongoDB, MySQL). Developing data processing pipelines and leveraging libraries like Pandas, NumPy, and Scikit-learn for data analysis and AI/ML applications. Automating processes using Python scripts and managing CI/CD pipelines. Designing and developing scalable, reliable backend services and APIs using Go. Implementing RESTful APIs and gRPC services with a focus on performance optimization. Utilizing Go's concurrency primitives (goroutines and channels) to build high-performance, concurrent applications. Working with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes (which is itself written in Go). Integrating with various databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Redis) and message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ). Troubleshooting, debugging, and optimizing applications for maximum efficiency and security. Ampcus is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
