  • Hillcrest Medical Center is a 656-bed hospital that includes The Alexander Burn Center, The Peggy V. Helmerich Women's Health Center, Kaiser Rehabilitation Center, the latest technology for the treatment of cancer, and the Oklahoma Heart Institute.

A Polysomnographic Technician performs comprehensive polysomnographic testing and analysis, and associated interventions under the general supervision of a Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) and/or the clinical director (MD, PhD, DO) or designee. * A Polysomnographic Technician can provide supervision of a Polysomnographic Trainee.

  • The individuals within this job classification are accountable for providing services in accordance with HHS performance standards in order to deliver efficient, effective and quality patient care.
  • He/she is expected to adhere to and abide by the rules and regulations set forth by the American Academy of Sleep medicine and DNV

Job Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • BLS
  • Completion of accredited sleep tech training program.
  • If the incumbent is hired without credentials, must either:
    • Elect Certification by the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists within 6 months of hire date, and then become registered by same body within one year of certification, or
    • Become registered/credentialed by the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists within 12 months of employment. Failure to obtain registration will lead to termination.
