As an Armed Patrol Officer in a commercial real estate location, you will actively monitor and patrol designated areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing a visible presence. This driving and armed post involves routine patrols, responding to incidents, and delivering outstanding customer service. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the commercial real estate location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor for unusual activity and report any security-related concerns or incidents according to company and client protocols.
  • Assist visitors, tenants, and/or employees with security-related inquiries and provide directions or information as needed.
  • Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential security-related issues within the commercial real estate environment.
  • Document observations and/or incidents in daily activity reports and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal management and client contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

  • An armed guard card or license is required.
  • Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
  • Applicants who are comfortable using a computer or tablet are preferred.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
