Security Officer - Aero Facility Patrol

As a Security Officer - Aero Facility Patrol in Huntsville, AL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within an aerospace and defense location. Your visible presence will help to deter security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service and communication. You will conduct routine patrols and respond to situations as needed, all while upholding our values of agility, reliability, and integrity. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as directed by Allied Universal.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for the location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter potential unwanted activity and to observe and report any irregularities.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas within the aerospace and defense location to help to deter unauthorized access and report any unusual circumstances.
• Document and communicate observations, incidents, and/or issues to the appropriate Allied Universal personnel and client representatives as required by site procedures.
• Support access control measures by verifying credentials and assisting visitors and employees as needed.
• Remain alert to surroundings and maintain a visible presence throughout assigned patrol routes within the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• An active Department of Defense Secret Clearance is required.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
