RN, Registered Nurse | Inpatient Behavioral Health

Scheduled Weekly Hours:

Registered Nurse (RN) - Inpatient Behavioral Health (0.75 FTE)

Location:Main Campus, La Crosse, WI

FTE:0.75 | 60 hours per two weeks

Schedule: Straight 12-hour Night shifts (1830-0700) | Every third weekend | Two holidays per year

What You'll Do

• Provide compassionate, trauma-informed and evidence-based care to patients experiencing acute mental health crisis.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including psychiatrists, NPs, RNs, behavioral health specialists, CNAs, social workers, therapists, clergy, and addiction counselors.

• Support patients through crisis stabilization, medication management, and therapeutic interventions.

• Maintain accurate documentation and uphold compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

What You'll Need

• Associate Degree in Nursing (minimum)

• Required:Active and unencumbered RN license to practice in the state of Wisconsin

• Preferred:1+ year of RN experience, ideally in mental health

• Current Infant-Adult BLS for Health Care Providers

• Strong communication and teamwork skills
