$23/hr. starting pay

POSITION SUMMARY:

Under the direction of the CES Specialist, the Clinical Education Coordinator assists with the Clinical Education Services Department activities and initiatives for the operation. Responsible for assisting with the creation, implementation, and tracking of education programs.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assists in recruitment through involvement in area EMS classes and career days
  • Assists in the operation of local orientation programs and continuing education system
  • Assists in preparation and completion of orientation classes and ACLS/PALS instructor certification courses
  • Assists in completion of all AHA course paperwork and schedules instructors as needed
  • Prints AHA certification cards and inputs information for e Cards (when applicable)
  • Assists with organization of state recertifications
  • Oversees all expiring certifications within the Company's certification system and employee adherence to maintaining certifications
  • Coordination and oversight of CMEs
  • Assists with CQI/CQMP
  • Adheres to all company policies and procedures
  • Adheres to and complies with all information systems policies

Non-Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Performs other duties as assigned

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Education/Licensing/Certification:

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum current State Certification as an EMT-B required
  • Driving record that passes AMR's National Safety policy requirements
  • Must attend the next available AHA instructor course and obtain AHA BLS Instructor Certification

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in the direct delivery of pre-hospital basic life support as an EMT-Basic or higher
  • Effective oral, written and interpersonal communication skills
