Our Dassault Systemes R&D Customer Success Expertise Center team is excited to announce we have a hybrid internship opportunity available in our Waltham, MA office!

The Expertise Center Team, consisting of highly skilled experts, is pivotal in supporting customers on on-premise and on-cloud PCS and Reliability issues. This team is crucial for maintaining customer satisfaction and operational excellence. We help diagnose issues in the databases, load balancing, software codes, networking, installations, migrations, and other areas. The Expertise Team also develops supportability tools with cutting-edge technology and is an active implementer of AI.

As a Software Engineer Intern, you will be a member of a dynamic team that specializes in solving complex issues with 3DExperience databases, installation, performance, migration and upgrade, on both on-premise and cloud customers. You will help develop supportability and productivity tools using cutting-edge technology and in-house AI assets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the development, enhancement, and maintenance of internal tools and applications.

  • Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code under the guidance of senior engineers.

  • Support debugging, troubleshooting, and resolving software defects.

  • Participate in code reviews to learn best practices and improve code quality.

  • Collaborate with engineers to understand requirements and translate them into technical tasks.

  • Perform functional and regression testing to ensure software reliability.

  • Help automate repetitive processes to improve operational efficiency.

  • Research new technologies, frameworks, or methods to support ongoing development.

  • Prepare and update technical documentation for tools, scripts, and processes.

  • Assist in monitoring system performance and identifying areas for optimization.

You will be part of a team that plays a crucial role in ensuring that customer success users have the information and resources they need to effectively utilize our software products and achieve their goals. We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Software Engineer with skills in the following areas:

  • Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address challenges in the software development and develop effective solutions,
  • Communication Skills: Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members, gather requirements from stakeholders, and communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Creativity: Ability to think creatively and explore innovative approaches to enhance the chatbot's capabilities and user experience.
  • Self-Motivation and Learning Agility: Proactive attitude towards learning new technologies and methodologies, as well as the ability to work independently and adapt to evolving project requirements
  • Collaboration Skills: Ability to work well with others in a highly collaborative, cross-team environment
Qualifications
  • Programming Skills: Proficiency in languages relevant to our tools and systems in Golan, Microservices/RESTful APIs development, HTMX, Templ, HTML, CSS, networking basics, SQL, FrontEnd UX design.
  • Familiarity with Development Tools: Experience with software development tools and environments like Jira and GitHub
  • API Integration: Ability to integrate the tools with external APIs
  • Testing and Debugging: Proficiency in testing and debugging software functionalities to identify and resolve issues, ensuring smooth and reliable performance.

In addition to working with your direct team, as a member of Dassault Systemes NAM Intern Program, you will be invited to our Speaker Series, Lunch and Learns, Networking Events, and employee functions.
