As a Security Officer - Telecom Building Patrol in Concord, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated tech and media locations, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents and foster a secure environment. Your role includes conducting routine patrols, responding to incidents, and providing outstanding customer service while upholding Allied Universal's values of teamwork, integrity, and innovation. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to help protect people and property.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor the premises for unusual activity and report findings to the appropriate personnel.
• Support access control measures by observing entry and exit points and verifying credentials as required.
• Communicate with clients, visitors, and/or employees in a professional manner to address inquiries and provide assistance.
• Document incidents, observations, and/or actions taken during patrols as required by Allied Universal policies and procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
