Overview

This position is responsible for leading the Business Owner Advisory practice. The role requires strategic coordination and engagement with internal wealth partners as well as partners across the Bank, to achieve defined business objectives. This role will coach and train associates on the Business Owner Advisory process across the enterprise.


Responsibilities

  • Practice Management - Oversees the management of the business advisory sales cycle, including the marketing of plans, the frequency of client events needed to achieve business development goals, and the standardization of the client report output. Ensure cohesion between individual planners, client plans and the overall business advisory program. Develop and communicate key performance indicators and program metrics to the appropriate parties and recommend changes.
  • Management - Establishes and monitors expectations to achieve company and department goals. Follows all applicable policies, procedures, and sales practices required to meet objectives. Manages the performance, training, and evaluation of assigned staff. Maximizes department achievements by providing professional development and actively recruiting new talent.
  • Client Service Delivery - Leads the design and presentation of business planning illustrations and strategies for clients and prospects. In partnership with the banking teams, uncover and proactively identify potential revenue-generating prospect opportunities related to the bank's business advisory resources. Participation and leadership in Bank client events building relationships and assisting in identification of opportunities. In addition, lead the partnership with our internal thought leadership experts, internal/external education efforts, including coaching, writing, presentation development, etc.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree and 10 years of experience in Wealth Management Financial Planning OR High School Diploma or GED and 14 years of experience in Wealth Management Financial Planning

Preferred Area of Experience: Financial Planning License or Certification Type: Certified Exit Planning Advisor (CEPA or CExP) designation or equivalent experience

Preferred, Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation or equivalent experience

Preferred Skill(s): Experience with eMoney and/or MoneyGuidePro, Business Development

The base pay for this position is generally between $240,000 and $260,000. Actual starting base pay will be determined based on skills, experience, location, and other non-discriminatory factors permitted by law. For some roles, total compensation may also include variable incentives, bonuses, benefits, and/or other awards as outlined in the offer of employment.
