You Are:

UST is searching for a Technical Writer who will perform technical publication production duties, composition, illustration and technical writing and editing.

The opportunity:

* Develop clear written materials to support product development activities.

* Work cross functionally with SME's to collect product information and specifications.

* Create, develop, update and publish highly accurate and complete product and service documents

* (e.g- Mainframe Manuals, Chamber Manuals, Procedures and BKM's)

* Collect and organize technical information and product images and coordinate layouts for publication.

* Develop and author technical documentation adhering to publication processes and style guide.

* Write, structure and publish technical contents using DITA XML.

* Seek technically capable candidates to develop new products technical documentation and update legacy product documentation for semiconductor equipment.

* Source relevant content knowledge from databases, pre-existing documents, tool builds and

* Subject Matter Experts to create, develop, update, and publish highly accurate, complete, and concise product and service documents on a timely basis.

* Develop and author technical documents while adhering to publication processes and style guides.

* Will be required to visit Fab/Clean Room at the site.

This position description identifies the responsibilities and tasks typically associated with the performance of the position. Other relevant essential functions may be required.

What you need:

* Excellent English language written and verbal communication skills.

* Proficient in technical publishing software:

* DITA XML: Oxygen Editor

* Content Management System (CMS): SDL Tridion Docs, SharePoint, Teams

* Graphical: Inkscape, Notepad++, and MS Paint

* Adobe Suite: Acrobat Pro DC, FrameMaker

* MS Office Suite: Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook

* Ability to work in a cross-functional organization and multitask on multiple projects.

* Must be a quick learner, self-starter, with strong attention to details and can work with minimal

* supervision in a fast-paced, high-tech environment.

* May require 10% travel.

Compensation can differ depending on factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, education, and level of experience. UST provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in various U.S. markets as set forth below.

Role Location: California

Compensation Range : $56,000-$84,000

Benefits

Full-time, regular employees accrue a minimum of 10 days of paid vacation per year, receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro-rated for new hires throughout the year), 10 paid holidays, and are eligible for paid bereavement leave and jury duty. They are eligible to participate in the Company's 401(k) Retirement Plan with employer matching. They and their dependents residing in the US are eligible for medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as the following Company-paid Employee Only benefits: basic life insurance, accidental death and disability insurance, and short- and long-term disability benefits. Regular employees may purchase additional voluntary short-term disability benefits, and participate in a Health Savings Account (HSA) as well as a Flexible Spending Account (FSA) for healthcare, dependent child care, and/or commuting expenses as allowable under IRS guidelines. Benefits offerings vary in Puerto Rico.

Full-time temporary employees receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro-rated for new hires throughout the year) and are eligible to participate in the Company's 401(k) program with employer matching. Part-time temporary employees receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro-rated for new hires throughout the year).

All US employees who work in a state or locality with more generous paid sick leave benefits than specified here will receive the benefit of those sick leave laws.
