Overview

Full or part-time position available for Wisconsin licensed Doctor of Audiology to work in collaboration with busy ENT practice at Mercyhealth Hospital and Medical Center - Walworth in beautiful Lake Geneva, Wisconsin.

The successful candidate will enjoy the autonomy of an independent practice while providing exceptional audiologic care to a diverse patient population, focusing on both diagnostic evaluations and hearing aid fitting and management. Responsibilities

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
* Conducts comprehensive diagnostic hearing assessments.
* Conducts hearing and balance evaluations for patients of all ages according to established standards.
* Evaluates, repairs, and performs fittings on hearing aids.
* Performs VNG Testing,
* Performs Cochlear Implant candidacy evaluations, activations, and re-mapping.
* Conducts follow-up evaluations for patients.
* Performs canalith repositioning maneuvers.
* Dispenses FM assistive listening systems and other assistive devices.
* Provides community service talks throughout the area and the Mercy Health System.

Education and Experience

Doctoral Degree in Audiology.

Certification and Licensure

Licensure as an audiologist.
Completion of CEUs for state licensure.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

Passing the WI Caregiver Background Check and/or IL Health Care Workers Background Check.

Must be able to follow written/oral instructions.

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

Supervises

Directly supervises audiology staff at Mercy Clinics as well as audiology services at Mercy Hospital and other outlying clinics. Supervises Clinical Fellowship Year audiologists.
