Role: EPIC Project Manager - Gold Stars Role Type: W2 Contract Length: 6 months + Description: Our pediatric provider client in Wisconsin is seeking a contract Epic Project Manager to lead a focused initiative to significantly improve their Epic Gold Stars ratings. The goal is to increase Configuration from 6 to 8 and Usage from 2.5 to 8 by May 31, 2026. This engagement requires a seasoned Epic leader who can rapidly mobilize resources, execute a high-impact roadmap, and drive measurable adoption across clinical and operational teams. Key Objectives for the 6-Month Engagement: * Gold Stars Configuration: Move from 6 8 by May 31, 2026. * Gold Stars Usage: Move from 2.5 8 by May 31, 2026. * Deliver a validated roadmap, governance structure, and adoption strategy within the contract period. * Execute high-priority build and usage interventions to ensure measurable progress toward targets. Responsibilities: * Program Mobilization: Establish governance, define scope, and prioritize Gold Stars features for immediate implementation. * Project Planning: Develop and manage a condensed project plan with aggressive timelines for build, testing, training, and adoption. * Configuration Oversight: Coordinate Epic build teams to implement and validate required features for Gold Stars points. * Adoption Strategy: Launch usage campaigns, training, and analytics dashboards to accelerate adoption. * Stakeholder Engagement: Partner with clinical leaders, revenue cycle teams, and Epic representatives to ensure alignment and attestation readiness. * Reporting: Provide weekly progress updates and risk mitigation plans to leadership. Required Qualifications: * 5+ years of Epic project management experience, including optimization and Gold Stars initiatives. * Strong knowledge of Epic modules (Ambulatory, Inpatient, MyChart, Orders, Revenue Cycle). * Proven ability to deliver results under tight timelines and manage cross-functional teams. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $90.00 - $120.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
