What You Will Do:
GFT is seeking a Sr. Transit Project Managerto support a variety of projects in the West Region. This role follows a Hybrid work model out of our San Francisco office. What you'll be challenged to do: The ideal candidate will have experience as a Project Manager or Deputy Project Manager for FTA/FRA funded projects involving Bus Facilities, Bus Rapid Transit, Light Rail, Heavy Rail Rapid Transit, or Commuter Rail. PE Registration required. A bachelor's degree is required, with a master's degree preferred. Progressive positions with major transportation agencies or consultants are expected. The position is responsible for coordinating and reviewing the work of engineers and planners working in diverse disciplines to design and plan major transportation infrastructure. The position requires strong verbal and written communication skills, as well as the ability to effectively interact with clients and federal agency oversight. Work includes corridor infrastructure design projects, project management, and project scheduling. Some travel is necessary.
