This position manages and leads the operational and financial activities of the Department of GYN/OB at Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center (JHBMC) and is responsible for financial and operational planning; financial, operational and quality improvement initiatives, financial reporting, financial analysis and fiscal planning, and quality improvement activities to ensure the Department of GYN/OB at JHBMC meets and exceeds its tripartite mission goals. The role includes responsibility for the finances of the all departments including Johns Hopkins University (JHU) and JHBMC. This person reports directly to the Administrator. Along with the Chair and Administrator, serves as departmental financial steward and strategic partner. This position also collaborates closely with Human Resources, Credentialing, Sponsored Research, Operations, etc. as well as the JHHS's central finance team. Salary Range: Minimum 31.96/hour - Maximum 55.95/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
