Overview

Sierra Lobo, offers customers a full range of professional and technical capabilities, including Test and Evaluation, Systems Engineering, and Advanced Technologies. We also develop products and processes related to Cryogenic Fluid and Thermal Management Systems, Densified Propellant Management Systems, and Prototype Extreme Pressure and Temperature Systems. Our customers include the Department of Defense (DoD), the U.S. Air Force, U.S. Navy, U.S. Army, Missile Defense Agency (MDA), and the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA).

This is a full-time direct-hire position located at or near our Hoover Road facility in Milan, Ohio. The successful applicant will work closely for an extended duration with more senior personnel to gain knowledge and skills applicable to their field while supporting the reactivation and operation of a world-class government-owned aerospace research and test facility.



Responsibilities

Responsibilities

Fabricate, install, modify, maintain/repair a wide variety of electrical systems such as:

    Low voltage AC power systems
  • DC power systems
  • PLCs
  • Raceway and Conduit Systems
  • Illumination/lighting
  • Field Instrumentation and wiring
  • Understanding P & ID and Electrical Drawings
  • Understanding and working with Digital Multimeters
  • Breakers, switches, relays, starters, and field devices

Perform:

  • Troubleshooting and repair of complex, existing electromechanical systems
  • Wire crimping and termination
  • Control System maintenance

Work with devices such as valve limit switches, pressure transducers, valve control loops, vacuum and flow switches, proximity detectors, flame and combustible gas detectors, photocells, thermocouples, transducers, etc.

Qualifications

  • Requires comprehension of:
    • NFPA 70 "National Electric Code"
    • NFPA 70E "Standard for Electrical Safety in the Workplace"
    • OSHA Standards
    • IEEE Standards
    • Experience with ISO9001:2000 or AS91000 Quality Systems
    • Read and interpret electrical drawings, sketches, and technical documentation

Basic Qualifications:

    • Associate of Applied Science Degree in Electrical Engineering Technology or equivalent
    • Minimum of three (3) years of experience in a related field
    • Must be a US Citizen
