This position requires both armed and driving responsibilities. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or incidents.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
  • Monitor the location for unusual or suspicious activity and report findings to the appropriate personnel or authorities.
  • Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential issues and provide reassurance to employees, visitors, and the public.
  • Assist in access control by verifying identification and/or credentials of individuals entering restricted areas, as required by site-specific guidelines.
  • Document observations, incidents, and activities in daily reports and/or logs as required by Allied Universal and client protocols.
  • Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency responders when necessary, following all applicable procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Have at least 3 years of combined law enforcement, military, or security experience or possess a college degree.
  • Possess an armed guard card or license.
  • Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
