As a Patrol Unarmed Security Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring and patrolling assigned areas at an educational location. This is a driving post, so you will operate a vehicle as part of your daily responsibilities. You will conduct routine patrols, respond to situations as needed, and provide outstanding customer service and communication while maintaining a visible presence.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the educational campus and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or address potential concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe activity in and around the location to help to deter potential risks and support a secure environment.
• Communicate professionally with students, faculty, staff, and visitors to address inquiries and/or report concerns.
• Document incidents, observations, and daily activities according to Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.
• Assist with emergency response activities as required, following all applicable procedures and protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
