Overview
We are seeking an experienced Lead CT Technologist to take on expanded leadership responsibilities. In addition to performing advanced CT imaging duties as a Senior CT Technologist, this role will assist with staff scheduling, and provide support to the department manager as needed. We realize that it sounds cliche but it is true - taking care of cancer patients is a calling. It's much more than a job. This lead role combines advanced CT Technician responsibilities with administrative duties, including Staff coverage and scheduling. Key Responsibilities -Performs CT procedures as ordered achieving a high level of quality. Offers expertise to physicians regarding appropriateness of additional/modified studies, etc.-Escorts patients to treatment room. Assists with dressings as necessary. Completes all paperwork necessary to ensure timely delivery of CT services. Logs radiologic procedures completed. Processes routine paperwork.-Provides protection for patient and self in accordance with prescribed safety standards.-Ensures the safety and physical comfort of the patient while in technologists care. Conducts daily quality control measures to monitor machine performance. -Reports all malfunctions and/or need for adjustments to the proper company or facility. -Follows prescribed safety standards in operating equipment. Maintains confidentially of all information related to patients and medical staff.
Qualifications Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology from an accredited school. Minimum thee years experience as a CT Technologist. Certification as a registered radiologic technologist (ARRT) required. Current IV and CPR certifications required. Certification in CT strongly preferred. All qualified candidates are required to pass a background check and non-federal drug test (which excludes marijuana) post offer of employment and prior to hire. | |
