The targeted hiring range for this full-time position is $115,400 - $155,700 depending on qualifications; however, the expanded salary range provides opportunities for advancement. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and job location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, competencies, experience, and relevant education, training or a combination of these things and market demand. Job Description

The Region Director of Wholesaleis responsible fordeveloping andexecutingbusiness development strategies to grow wholesalebusinessacross our work and huntbrandsin theindependentaccount segment.They will lead a team ofterritory sales managers and territory account reps, ensuring effective execution of the strategies in the field and attainment of revenue and profitability goals. In addition, this role willworkcollaboratively withcross-functional partnersto ensure the success of the entire North America Work (DTC, Wholesale, Industrial) organization.

Essential Duties:

  • Responsible for deliveringwholesale revenue,volumeand other critical targets for the defined regionby growing boththeexisting and net new account base.

  • Lead, mentor and coach a team of salesmanagers todeliver the right level of service for each customertodrivesales teamfocus and a positive customer experience.

  • Partners with sales, revenue operations,productand marketingleadership todefine and develop wholesale salesand customer supportstrategies to drive market share and revenue growthin alignment with corporateobjectives.

  • Build andmaintainstrong relationships with key customers and cross-functional stakeholders.

  • Work cross functionally to deploy and enable adoption of processes,menu of services,toolsand training in support ofWholesalestrategies; ensures sales team isleveragingsalesmethodology, andeffectively managingsales pipeline

  • Achieve financialobjectivesby forecasting requirements; preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances;initiatingcorrective actions

  • Manage assigned staff: provide clear goals and expectations; ensure clarity of roles and responsibilities; coach; manage performance; develop; salary administration; enforce systems,policiesand procedures; recruit, select and onboard new employees

Qualifications

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE

  • B.S./B.A.Degree in business, sales, marketing, and/ or a related field of study, with a minimum of7years ofsales management experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Experienceoperatingin amatrix-salesenvironment

  • Experience creating and implementing successful sales initiativesand plans

  • Experience with leveraging CRM software such as Salesforce.com, toprofitablymanage sales pipeline

  • Experience with effectively leading sales teams in a highly networked organization preferred

  • Experience inselling premium footwear, workwear, or safety solutions preferred

KNOWLEDGE,SKILLSand ABILITIES

  • Demonstrated ability to get results throughinfluence andcollaboration with organizational partners

  • Demonstrated ability toconsistently andeffectively leverage a dynamic sales processresultingin increased revenue and profitability, including prospecting, developing opportunities, closing new business, onboarding accounts, and growing existing accounts

  • Ability to manage a sales pipeline to achieve sales goals and defined KPIs

  • Strong financial and business acumen; understands the dynamics of the business and the business strategy

  • Strong communicationand analytical skillsrequired, including the ability to interpret and articulate business needsand challenges, andformulate pragmatic, effectiverecommendations.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Home Based work environment with frequent field travel - up to 60%. This role must reside somewhere in the Eastern region - ideally near a major hub for accessible travel which will include annual Sales meetings, and visits to our headquarters in Red Wing, MN.
