A member of the CPS Division of Compliance and Regulatory Services the Director of Compliance and Regulatory Services will provide expert support to CPS Pharmacy Leaders and hospitals and enables CPS-managed pharmacies to achieve best practices and "gold standard" compliance.

A remote/home-based position that requires extensive travel (up to 75%). Extensive travel is required with sometimes long and irregular hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as necessary.

You'll enjoy the flexibility to work remotely * from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges. For all hires in the Minneapolis or Washington, D.C. area, you will be required to work in the office a minimum of four days per week.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Directs assessment of hospital operations to determine compliance with regulatory and accreditation requirements are being met
  • Participates in direct client communication involving regulatory and safety value propositions
  • Serves as a key resource and consultant on standards and compliance of Joint Commission and other accrediting bodies, CMS, DEA, and other regulatory issues relevant to medication management
  • Knowledge of regulatory compliance and medication safety for hospitals, ambulatory care pharmacies, long term acute care hospitals, and/or long term care facilities
  • Work with Directors of Pharmacy and other hospital personnel to enhance regulatory compliance and medication safety
  • Develop innovative approaches to streamline regulatory practices

Required Qualifications:

  • ACPE - accredited PharmD degree (highly preferred) or BS of Pharmacy with recent pharmacist work experience
  • Active pharmacist license in good standing

    Hospital pharmacy management experience

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Demonstrated ability to pass a company Motor Vehicle (MVR) check
  • Demonstrated ability to travel away from home location up to 75% of the time

Preferred Qualification:

  • 2+ years of management experience

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). No matter where or when you begin a career with us, you'll find a far-reaching choice of benefits and incentives. The salary for this role will range from $89,900 to $160,600 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
