Summary:

The Pharmacy Technician II role functions in an independent capacity in their respective pharmacy practice area. The Pharmacy Technician II will assist pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, and the care team in the storage, handling, preparation, and distribution of medications within MaineHealth.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

  1. Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
  2. License/Certifications: Current or eligible for applicable state(s) license as a Pharmacy Technician. Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) is preferred.
  3. Experience: Six months of experience as a licensed pharmacy technician.
  4. Additional Skills/Requirements Required: N/A
  5. Additional Skills/Requirements Preferred: N/A
