Concierge - JLL What this job involves:

We are seeking a professional Concierge to support our client's world headquarters in Reston, Virginia. As the welcoming face of the company, you'll provide exceptional customer service while managing visitor registration, security protocols, and administrative support. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of local businesses, entertainment venues, and travel options, combined with a deep understanding of excellent customer service principles. You'll be responsible for creating positive first impressions while ensuring building security and supporting various operational needs in a fast-paced corporate environment.

What your day-to-day will look like:

* Greet and check in guests using the Visitor Registration System, creating and issuing photo ID and access control badges

* Answer phone calls and transfer to appropriate departments with professional courtesy

* Provide general administrative support across multiple departments as needed

* Make conference room reservations and coordinate meeting logistics

* Submit tickets for building maintenance issues and track resolution progress

* Partner with Conference Services team to assist with receptions and corporate events

* Escort guests throughout the facility as required for security protocols

* Correspond with guests requiring follow-up services or issue resolution

* Maintain the ambiance, style, and cleanliness of the Concierge Desk, ensuring all brochures and literature are properly stocked

* Participate in and successfully complete all required training programs

* Demonstrate flexibility with work hours based on operational needs

Required Qualifications:

* High school diploma or equivalent education

* 3+ years of receptionist and/or hospitality experience in professional settings

* Professional experience in administrative roles within busy front desk environments preferred

* Pleasant phone manner and excellent verbal communication skills

* Basic knowledge of local attractions and destinations in the Reston/Virginia area

* Ability to thrive in a busy, fast-paced, and quickly changing environment

* Exceptional customer service skills and problem-solving attitude

* Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple tasks with minimal supervision

* Professional communication abilities, both written and verbal

* Flexibility regarding work start and end times as operational needs require

* Proficiency with desktop computing platforms (PC) and Microsoft Office Suite applications, including Teams

Preferred Qualifications:

* Associate degree or relevant college coursework

* Experience supporting corporate events and executive-level interactions

* Familiarity with visitor management systems and security protocols

* Knowledge of conference room booking systems and meeting coordination

* Previous experience in corporate headquarters or high-security environments

Additional Requirements: * Must adhere to professional dress code and appearance policy * All other duties and tasks as assigned

Location: Reston, Virginia (Client World Headquarters)

Working Hours: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 6:00 PM (core building hours with flexibility required)

This position does not provide visa sponsorship. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.
