What You'll Do

Intern Program Begins: May 11, 2026

Intern Program Ends: August 5, 2026

Pay Rate: $18/hr

This position will be located at our Corporate Office: 2355 W Pinnacle Peak Rd, Phoenix, AZ 85027

A user research intern gathers and analyzes member feedback to improve digital and in-branch experiences. They support research planning, conduct interviews or surveys, and help synthesize insights to inform design and product decisions. This role offers hands-on exposure to human-centered design and financial services.

  • Research Skills Development- Learn to design and conduct user interviews, surveys, and usability tests to gather actionable insights.
  • Data Analysis Experience - Gain experience synthesizing qualitative and quantitative data to identify user needs, pain points, and behavior patterns.
  • Strategic Thinking - Contribute to improving member experiences by translating research findings into design recommendations or product improvements.
  • Collaboration & Communication - Work closely with design, product, and marketing teams, enhancing their ability to present findings and advocate for usercentered solutions.
  • Professional Portfolio - Leave with documented case studies and research reports that demonstrate their impact and process.
  • Help design wireframes, user flows, and prototypes to improve digital banking experiences.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure user-centered design principles are applied across web and mobile platforms.
  • Analyze feedback and usage data to identify opportunities for enhancing member satisfaction and accessibility.

What You Bring

  • Education: Currently pursuing a degree in psychology user experience, user research, human systems integration, human factors or a related field.
  • Foundational knowledge of UX principles, wireframing tools (like Figma or Adobe XD), and basic research methods
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset are essential for working with cross-functional teams and contributing to user testing and design iterations.
  • A passion for people, innovation, and growth.
