General Pit Laborers - Cheyenne, WY

We are seeking dedicated and hard-working General Laborers to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting with various tasks at construction sites or plant/pit locations.

This position will primarily be at our Cheyenne, WY Aggregate Pit

• Persons shall be able to work safely and follow all company policies.
• Measures distance from grade stakes, drives stakes & stretches tight line.
• Uses various power and hand tools.
• Signals operators of construction equipment to facilitate alignment, movement and adjustment of machinery to conform to grade specifications.
• Levels earth using pick or shovel.
• Performs flagging duties as needed.
• May operate small equipment including bobcat, tractor, or roller or move from one site to another.
• Must follow all Knife River, MSHA and OSHA Safety guidelines.
• Must be able to work in all types of weather conditions.
• Persons shall be able to establish and maintain positive and effective working relationships with all personnel and to perform all duties safely and productively to ensure quality work.

Minimum Qualifications:

• 1-3 months verifiable experience.
• Must possess a valid class C state driver's license and have an acceptable driving record, per Knife River Fleet policy.
  
• Regular attendance required.
