General Information: The College of Business is seeking a full-time Operations Manager to provide administrative support to the Office of Professional Development and Engagement. As an integral member of the College's team, the Operations Manager will oversee daily operations of the office, manage the Office of Professional Development and Engagement's budget, provide fiscal support to College of Business student organizations and office programming, coordinate college-wide events for student organizations and college admissions activities. This role involves regular collaboration with faculty and administrative staff to provide support to student programming and college admissions activities. The Operations Manager represents JMU and must exhibit high standards of professionalism and customer service. This position reports to the Director of Professional Development and Engagement. Duties and Responsibilities: * Oversee the daily operations of the office, including the training and managing of student employees, management of the Hartman Hall employer space, prospective student tour scheduling, and virtual interview rooms. Qualifications: * Ability to communicate professionally and effectively across in-person, virtual, and written formats.
