This position is eligible for Eskaton's health benefits package the first of the month following 60 days of employment and Paid Time Off benefits program after 90 days of employment.

Position Summary:
The Employee Relations Partner will serve as a primary partner to business leaders on employee relations matters, including managing escalated complaints and complex investigations. This role involves providing expert advice on employment law, training, employee relations, and ensuring a positive and productive work environment. The Employee Relations Partner will also be responsible for partnership with development and implementation of organizational policies, identifying trends across communities and working in collaboration with teams to provide recommendations and practical, systemic solutions. This role will work closely with our Learning and Development team and will lead training courses to inform and educate our leadership team on employment law, regulations and annual HR Compliance updates.

The starting salary for this position ranges from $85,000 to $95,000 annually. Factors such as scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, job-related skills, internal peer equity, as well as market and business considerations may influence base pay offered.

Position Responsibilities include:



  • Serve as primary point of contact for employee relations matters, managing employee complaint escalations and complex investigations. Provide coaching for business leaders when matters can be handled at the community level, providing training as needed to best equip leaders.
  • Provide guidance on employee relations issues, including conflict resolution, mediation, performance management, and identify training opportunities.
  • Conduct complex investigations, as needed and when appropriate.
  • Oversee the completion of compliance training; ensure communities are completing timely performance review, and compliance related trainings.
  • In partnership with Learning & Development, develop and deliver compliance related training programs to enhance skills and knowledge.
  • Conduct risk analysis and provide recommendations to ensure we are adhering to best practices.
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations.
  • Analyze turnover data to identify trends, in correlation with employee relations findings and recommend solutions.


Qualifications

Education:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field.

Training and Experience:



  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in an Employee Relations Partner, Human Resources Business Partner and/or strategic partner role.
  • HR certification (e.g., PHR, SHRM-CP).
  • Strong experience in training, employment law, employee relations, complex investigations and best practices.


Knowledge and Abilities:



  • Ability to navigate crucial conversations and follow up, as appropriate.
  • Ability to provide coaching to leadership and team members, in a constructive manner.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Strong organizational, multitasking, and project management skills.


The final candidate must successfully pass Eskaton's post offer, pre-employment testing which includes a criminal background check, drug test, TB screen test and health screen. All new hires are required to sign an arbitration agreement as a condition of employment.
