Point of Use Purifier Technician

Entegris is currently seeking a Point of Use (POU) Purifier Technician to join our Advanced Purity Solutions Division in San Luis Obispo, CA.

In this role, you will be responsible forperforming tasks related to building our point of use purifiers. This includes but not limited to manufacturing varioussubassemblies toengineering specifications, testingfinished products, product safety labeling and conducting quality visualinspections. This position is expected to alwaysoperatein a safe manner andcomply withall applicable workinstructions.

What You'll Do:

• Perform various operations on the productin accordance withthe work orders, process recordinstructionsand photographic library with supervision.
• Build products to the released drawings,verifyproduct visually,ensureproduct is consistent with established specifications with supervision.
• Responsible for the aesthetics symmetry of the product, using a variety of methods which mayinclude;etching, beadblasting,cleaningand labeling of purifier.
• Test purifiers by preforming leak checks following SEMI S2 specifications.
• Ensure all products are packaged per packaging specifications.
• Finalize all required paperwork thoroughly andtimely(i.e.Production orders, POU logs, Labels, etc.).
• Complete miscellaneous tasks assigned in support of the larger organization and production goals.
• Prioritize work tomaintainor increase on-time shipmentsin accordance withlead/managers'direction.
• Use various hand tools to complete tasksassigned.
• Complete 6S responsibilities (sort, set in order, shine, standardize, sustain, safety) asdirected.
• Maintains a clean and safe work area. Wear required Personal Protective Equipment. Performs duties in a safe manner andobservesapproved safety procedures. Communicates potential hazardsimmediatelytosupervisor.
• Work with a team as well as independently whenneeded.
• Any other duties as assigned.

What We Seek:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1-2 years of mechanical assembly or relevant experience.
• Willingness to work in a cleanroom environment.
• Ability to learn to navigate through operating system to find BOMs, drawings and instructions.
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 50lbs daily.
• Ability to climb ladders and be on your feet for extended periods of time.
• Astute attention to detail to drive plant safety and product quality.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic team environment.
• Ability to learn how to handle material responsibly.
• Ability to use a computer and learn basic data entry.
• Dependability with flexibility to work overtime and weekends to support business needs.

• Compensation: $23-25 hourly range with actual pay dependent on candidate overall skills for the role.
