The Children's Home of Poughkeepsie has been caring for children throughout the Hudson Valley for over 175 years! We strive to empower children and families to achieve optimal health and well being, and are looking for a Functional Family Therapy Supervisor in our Community Based Services Program



Position Summary:

The Functional Family Therapy (FFT) Supervisor will utilize the FFT model with families who have adolescents between the ages of 10 and 18. The FFT Supervisor will be required to carry a caseload of, at minimum, five families. This position requires flexibility in hours to meet families when they are available. The FFT Supervisor will provide FFT supervision to the FFT clinician within the Orange County Preventive program. The FFT Supervisor will also be responsible for completing and documenting Preventive Program data reports.



Essential Functions and Responsibilities:



  1. Meet with youth and families to conduct clinical evaluations and assessments.
  2. Provide, at a minimum, weekly one-hour, home-based Functional Family Therapy (FFT) to families with adolescents between the ages of 10 and 18, with services lasting between 3-5 months.
  3. Carry a caseload of, at minimum, five FFT cases
  4. Complete all required documentation in both the Client Services System or "CSS" portal and the agency' s EHR system.
  5. Assist administrative staff in collection of information for program effectiveness
  6. Collect and report on relevant data from the CSS portal for reporting purposes.
  7. Document all interactions with youth, families, and collateral contacts within 24-72 hours of contact.
  8. Develop and complete documentation including psychosocial evaluations, reports, treatment plans, and safety plans.
  9. Meet with youth and families to provide psychotherapy services, including but not limited to, individual, group and family therapy.
  10. Meet with the Preventive Clinical Supervisor for weekly supervision.
  11. Provide weekly and ongoing individual and group supervision to FFT clinician and the Preventive program case aid.
  12. Provide individual and group FFT training to the team as needed.
  13. Collaborate with FFT Consultants as needed.
  14. Other duties as assigned by the Clinical Supervisor.



Schedule: Monday - Friday 10am-6pm, Saturday- Sunday OFF, with rotating on-call responsibilities

Qualifications

MINIMUM Qualifications:



  1. LMSW, LMHC, LCSW
  2. This position requires an out of state externship. Once this requirement has been met there are no additional out of state travel requirements.
  3. Three years of applicable experience working in a human services field, preferably with children and families.
  4. Supervisory experience.
  5. Valid NYS Driver License in good standing as determined by the Agency.



PREFERRED Qualifications:



  1. Experience in delivery of services in community based settings.
  2. FFT Experience
