About the Role

The AI Intern / SkillBridge Associate supports day-to-day business activities by applying artificial intelligence (AI) tools to improve efficiency, organization, and outcomes. This is an entry-level, hands-on role designed for candidates who are eager to learn how AI can be used intentionally, responsibly, and effectively in a professional environment.

The individual will apply AI tools under guidance to assist with research, documentation, analysis, and workflow support, while developing a strong understanding of AI capabilities, limitations, and ethical considerations.

Key Responsibilities

Practical AI Application

  • Uses approved AI tools to assist with tasks such as drafting, summarizing, researching, organizing information, and improving workflow efficiency.
  • Applies AI tools to support decision-making by generating insights, options, or summaries for review.
  • Evaluates AI-generated outputs for accuracy, relevance, and usefulness before applying them to work products.
  • Learns to identify appropriate use cases for AI and when traditional methods are more effective.
  • Explores new AI features and capabilities and applies them to daily tasks where appropriate and approved.

Responsible & Ethical Use of AI

  • Uses AI tools in alignment with company policies, data privacy standards, and ethical guidelines.
  • Exercises care when handling sensitive, confidential, or proprietary information.
  • Demonstrates awareness of bias, accuracy limitations, and potential risks associated with AI-generated content.
  • Ensures all AI-assisted work is reviewed and validated before submission.
  • Seeks guidance when unsure about appropriate AI usage.

Learning & Development

  • Participates in training related to AI tools, data privacy, and responsible technology use.
  • Develops foundational knowledge of AI systems, including strengths, limitations, and risks.
  • Receives feedback and coaching to improve AI application skills and professional judgment.

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in, recently graduated from, or participating in an internship or SkillBridge program.
  • Interest in artificial intelligence, technology, and process improvement.
  • Basic familiarity with AI tools (e.g., generative AI, automation tools) preferred but not required.
  • Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail.
  • Ability to learn quickly and follow guidance.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Basic proficiency with standard business software (e.g., Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
