Job Description

Raymond West is looking for a strategic Chief Revenue Officer to join our team! The Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) is a key executive responsible for driving sustainable revenue growth and shaping the organization's financial trajectory. This role leads to the development and execution of comprehensive sales and revenue strategies that align with the company's long-term objectives. The CRO will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment across marketing, company strategies finance, and operations, fostering a unified approach to achieving organizational goals.


As a strategic leader, the CRO will oversee, mentor, and develop high-performing sales teams, instilling a culture of accountability and excellence. Beyond revenue generation, this position plays a pivotal role in defining the organization's financial vision and ensuring operational agility in a dynamic market environment.


The ideal candidate is a seasoned executive with deep industry expertise, a proven record of driving growth, and exceptional leadership capabilities. Success in this role requires visionary thinking, strong business acumen, and the ability to navigate complex challenges with precision and foresight. The CRO will work in close partnership with the C-Suite and senior leadership to ensure the organization remains competitive, profitable, and positioned for long-term success.

Duties and Responsibilities:


Primary duties and responsibilities will vary with the specific position. Typical responsibilities are listed below. This list is not inclusive.



  • Develop, budget and forecast revenue generating plans and execute accordingly
  • Lead organizational improvements to enhance efficiency, streamline processes, and optimize revenue operations across departments.
  • Create budget plans and have oversight of data-driven revenue optimization and pipeline management.
  • Communicate growth strategies for generating revenue across all business units.
  • Unify processes and integrate sales and marketing, to offer customers the best experience possible maximizing the returns on marketing investments
  • Deliver a unified revenue plan for all business units.
  • Monitoring all the revenue streams and adjust as necessary.
  • Clearly identify micro-markets and create a pricing strategy to target those micro-markets so that the highest possible return is generated.
  • Introduce new sales channels and partners while identifying new market opportunities and partnerships to expand our reach.
  • Maintain communication and relationships across organizational functions to work with different departments and manage the revenue generation through those departments.
  • Integrate sales and marketing, as well as any other process that maximizes the returns on marketing investment.
  • Monitor revenue performance metrics and implement data-driven improvements.
  • Collaborate with executive leadership to ensure revenue goals support overall company objectives.


Required Skills/Abilities



  • Proven experience in senior revenue leadership roles within a growth-oriented organization.
  • Strong background in sales, marketing, and business development strategies.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive alignment toward revenue goals.
  • Exceptional analytical skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, or related field (MBA preferred), or minimum of ten years sales leadership experience.


Education/Experience:


Minimum Education and Experience: Determined by position. Recommended preferred experience or equivalent or combination of education and experience.



  • Bachelor's degree and 5 years of relatable work experience
  • Bachelor's degree and 10 years in management capacity


Travel Requirement:



  • 50% (20 hours a week)
  • Must be able to be insured by Raymond West.

Pay Range:



  • The salary range for this position is $220,900 - $310,890. The specific pay offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to the candidate's relevant experience, education, and work location.


Qualified candidates must be able to pass a pre-employment physical and drug screen.
