  • Establish project scopes, fee estimates, schedules, and resource requirements
  • Coordinate and oversee field crews and Survey/CAD Technicians
  • Perform and oversee boundary, topographic, ALTA, and construction stakeout surveys
  • Utilize modern survey technologies including electronic instruments, field data collectors, and drone/UAS applications
  • Perform field checks and ensure quality control of all survey deliverables
  • Review and certify survey plans, plats, and legal descriptions
  • Ensure compliance with state regulations, professional standards, and STV quality procedures
  • Mentor and supervise junior survey staff, promoting professional growth and technical excellence
  • Collaborate with engineers, planners, and project teams across STV's multidisciplinary practices

Required Skills & Experience

  • Georgia Registered Land Surveyor (PLS/RLS) license (active and in good standing with ability to obtain Tennessee, Alabama, and other state licensure as requested)
  • Extensive experience in boundary, topographic, and construction stakeout surveying
  • GDOT Experience is a plus
  • Strong proficiency with:
    • Electronic survey instruments and GPS systems
    • Field data collectors
    • AutoCAD and Civil 3D
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and priorities independently
  • Proven experience leading survey teams and coordinating field and office efforts
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to apply creativity, foresight, and sound professional judgment
  • Excellent communication skills for client interaction and internal coordination

Compensation Range:
