Position Summary
The Office of Student Financial Services at Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine & Science invites applications for a full-time Financial Services Advisor in our Billing Office. The Student Accounts Specialist is responsible for coordinating all aspects of student billing, payment plan arrangements, advising students regarding billing and health insurance.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive financial engagement strategies, providing strategic guidance for complex billing, payment, and financial management scenarios across diverse student populations
- Conduct proactive financial account management, implementing sophisticated outreach protocols for students with complex billing and payment challenges
- Design and deliver specialized financial literacy programming, presenting nuanced insights on institutional billing processes, payment mechanisms, and financial planning strategies
- Collaborate strategically in developing comprehensive institutional financial policy and procedural framework
- Serve as primary financial contact for students and families, delivering expert guidance across critical financial domains including tuition billing, payment plans, private loans, health insurance, and account reconciliation
- Develop advanced resolution strategies for complex account discrepancies and financial transition scenarios, including leave of absence and withdrawal financial implications
- Execute precise electronic and check payment processing with exceptional accuracy
- Maintain comprehensive student financial interaction documentation
- Develop personalized payment scheduling and budgeting support strategies
- Monitor and manage intricate student account activities with meticulous attention to detail
- Maintain collaborative interdepartmental communication networks
- Stay current with state and federal best practices as well as institutional financial policies and system protocols
- Demonstrate unwavering commitment to maintaining the highest standards of professional integrity and confidentiality
Required Education & Experience
- Bachelor Degree or Equivalent Experience.
- (2) Years of relevant experience working in a higher education setting.
