Cleveland-Cliffs Tooling and Stamping has an immediate opportunity for a Program Manager Corporate Business Development in our Novi Michigan Office. The Program Manager Corporate Business Development will act as a point of contact for their clients. They will build long-lasting, mutually beneficial relationships with their contacts, always striving to find the products which best fit the individual needs of the client and the customer. They also aid internal departments by collecting information, such as sales leads or testimonials, assisting in the processing and analysis of client data and complaints, and identifying industry and customer trends. The Program Manager Corporate Business Development is responsible for the identification and development of new strategic customers that align with Cleveland Cliffs core values. To succeed in this position, Account managers should have exceptional communication, computer, and problem-solving skills. An Account Manager should be resourceful, analytical, adaptable, and organized with the ability to build rapport with clients. The ideal candidate will have prior experience, be self-motivated and thrive in a fast-paced work environment. Summary of Responsibilities:

  • Identifying and developing new key customers as well as developing opportunities with select current customer base.
  • Target immediate takeover opportunities to backfill existing Hot and Cold stamp open capacity.
  • Develop key opportunities in support of CCTS business plan
  • Communicating with clients to understand their needs and explain CCTS product value.
  • Building and maintaining relationships with clients based on trust and respect.
  • Collaborating with internal departments to facilitate client need fulfillment.
  • Keeping accurate records pertaining to opportunities and account notes.
  • Maintaining updated knowledge of company products and services.
  • Resolving complaints and preventing additional issues by improving processes while maintaining customer relationships.
  • Identifying industry trends and opportunities that provide growth for CCTS.
  • Acting as a client advocate with a focus on improving the buyer experience.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to collect, track, and analyze large amounts of data.
  • Adaptability and strong problem-solving skills with excellent active listening skills.
  • Ability to build rapport and collaborate with others within the company and externally.
  • Understanding of consumer/customer behaviors and industry trends
  • Support existing book of business while furthering growth with southern divisions located in Alabama, Tennessee, Kentucky

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 5-7+ years in B2B account management or sales in automotive/industrial manufacturing-ideally with exposure to stamping (hot/cold), metal forming, materials supply, or Tier 1/Tier 2 environments.
  • Demonstrated product/technical acumen around hot and cold stamped components, value streams (e.g., forming, tooling, finishing), and material supply dynamics.
