Job Description

The PxD+D team functions as the Innovation arm of Visa Consulting & Analytics. We support Fortune 500 clients by applying humancentered research to uncover customer needs and translate them into better product, digital, and experience strategies.

The Role

The Analyst will support mixedmethods research projects across quantitative and qualitative workstreams. You will help analyze and develop cohesive stories from data and contribute to actionable insights that guide client decisions. This role is ideal for someone naturally curious about consumer behavior, eager to learn advanced research techniques, and comfortable working in fastmoving consulting engagements.

What You'll Do

  • Support the execution and presentation of qualitative and quantitative research, including choicebased experiments (e.g., conjoint, MaxDiff), concept tests, and product assessments
  • Translate research findings into digestible insight summaries and clear data visualization slides helping to craft compelling narratives for clients
  • Help scope research activities by gathering requirements and coordinating logistics with vendors and internal partners
  • Participate in designthinking workshops to identify customer pain points and opportunity areas
  • Contribute to project management tasks such as timelines, documentation, deliverable preparation, and stakeholder communications
  • Help develop internal research tools, templates, and scalable best practices for the PxD+D team
  • Support relationship management with crossfunctional partners and external vendors to ensure smooth project execution

This is a hybrid position.Expectationofdays intheoffice will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • 2 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD, or PhD)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 3 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or more than 2 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD)
  • 2+ years of experience in market research, insights, analytics, consulting, or related fields
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Consumer Behavior, Sociology, Psychology, Economics, Data Analytics, or another research oriented discipline
  • Strong analytical, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Ability to manage tasks across multiple projects and deliver high quality work under tight timelines
  • Collaborative mindset with strong interpersonal skills and a desire to learn from senior team members
  • Enjoy working in fast paced consulting environments with shifting priorities
  • Have foundational experience or strong academic exposure to market research, user research, behavioral science, or analytics
  • Excel in designing compelling visual narratives through PowerPoint
  • Ask thoughtful questions, embrace ambiguity, and contribute to problem solving discussions
  • Be naturally curious about consumer motivations and how people interact with products and experiences
Additional Information

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.

Travel Requirements: This position requires travel5-10% of the time.

Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 104,600 to 171,800 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity. Visa has a comprehensive benefits package for which this position may be eligible that includes Medical, Dental, Vision, 401 (k), FSA/HSA, Life Insurance, Paid Time Off, and Wellness Program.
