Emergency Service Speclst II (Non-Exempt)

Qualifications
Education: Completion of fire training.
Licensure: Valid driver's license, clean record, ensurable as operator. State of practice EMT license.
Experience: None.
Certifications: CPR certification
Other: Must be physically fit and able to pass departments Physical Ability Test and medical exam. Radio communication skills essential. Must be able to interact with outside agencies such as law enforcement and hospitals. Must be able to operate emergency vehicles safely. Maintain currency in EVOC. Must be able to interact effectively with all public and or corporate businesses and their management and staff in a positive manner that respects their organization yet projects Mercy Standards. Must complete Incident command courses and directed by the organization.
Preferred Education: college hours and formal fire training preferred.
Preferred Licensure: none
Preferred Experience: one year healthcare/ EMS preferred. One year fire fighting experience.
