TITLE: Inventory Control Coordinator



POSITION OBJECTIVE: Accurately measuring various raw materials according to specific formulas, ensuring the consistent production of a high-quality compound product by monitoring mixing processes, performing quality checks, and maintaining proper equipment operation while adhering to safety and quality standards. Works independently on weekly and monthly inventory including generating reports in all appropriate systems.



QUALIFICATIONS:



  • High school graduate or equivalent required.
  • Good math, organization, and communication skills.
  • Strong knowledge of Excel, ability to export, sort, and analyze the data.
  • Forklift Experience is required.
  • Must be able to operate machinery and pass a safety test for the operation of forklift (frequently)
  • Ensure consistent, dependable attendance and demonstrate a willingness to accommodate non-standard work hours as necessary.
  • Capable of effectively managing job-related stress and fostering productive workplace interactions.



JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:



  • Efficiently handle and manage the receipt, inspection, storage, and distribution of all raw, mixed, and packaging materials per organizational standards and operational requirements
  • Verify and complete all Finished Goods, Scrap, and Raw Material inventory transactions.
  • Place purchase requisition for materials that have reached a restocking point.
  • Efficiently handle Material housekeeping, organization, and inventory preservation.
  • Prepare and reconcile all cycle counts, and prepare reports within the assigned timeframe. Monitor all inventory issues and ensure effective resolution.
  • Prepare and analyze discrepancy reports in case of any damage/loss in the compounding dept.
  • Inform designated employees or departments of items loaded and problems encountered.
  • Coordinates with the Production Manager on weekly/monthly inventory of scrap and resin.
  • Verify FG counts on daily production reports vs order travelers. Correct all discrepancies. Check low inventory points; prepare purchase requisitions for stock materials. File all supporting documents according to company requirements.



PHYSICAL ACTIVITY REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITION:



  • Climbing, ascending or descending ladders, stairs, scaffolding, ramps, poles and the like, using feet and legs and/or hands and arms. Body agility is emphasized.
  • Balancing, maintaining body equilibrium to prevent falling when walking, standing or crouching on narrow, slippery or erratically moving surfaces.
  • Stooping, bending body downward and forward by bending spine and waist. Example: Changing paper in printer, copier machine.
  • Kneeling, bending legs at knee to come to a rest on knee or knees.
  • Crouching, bending the body downward and forward by bending leg and spine.
  • Crawling, moving about on hands and knees or hands and feet.
  • Reaching, extending hand(s) and arm(s) in any direction. Example: Giving signals, reaching for material or handle on item.
  • Standing, particularly for sustained periods of time. Example: Making copies, giving presentations, directing traffic.
  • Walking, moving about on foot to accomplish tasks, particularly for long distances.

  • Vision to read and clearly observe.
