Summary:

The Postdoctoral Research Fellow I is a member of the Cook Children's Research team responsible for the acquisition, rigorous analysis, and presentation of clinical and research data through the use of statistical, algorithmic, mining, and visualization techniques. You will:

  • design experiments

  • collect data

  • test hypotheses

  • build models

  • conduct data analysis

  • Prepare scientific manuscripts and grants.

In addition to advanced analytic skills, you should also be proficient at programming specialized software tools for the analysis of large datasets of clinical and research data.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated expertise in data collection, data processing, programming, and statistical methods; the collection and analysis of complex clinical and research data; identifying the underlying principles, reasons, or facts of information by breaking down information or data into separate parts; and expertise of programming languages; scientific productivity

  • Doctorate degree in a related field
