Maintenance Tech I

Salary:

$23.00 per hour + eligible for bonus program

Responsible for assisting in the overall physical repair and maintenance of the warehouse facility.

Assists Maintenance Tech II in various duties including but not limited to painting, moving furniture, replacing lamps in office, warehouse and dock lights, and light construction.
• Conducting regular safety inspections on the building, grounds and equipment including but not limited to , roofing, masonry, plumbing, HVAC, lighting, fire systems, exit doors, dock levelers, dock doors, pallet racking.
• Inspecting and testing machinery and equipment, and diagnoses mechanical problems. Dismantling defective machines and equipment and installs new or repaired parts.
• Assists in Installation, fabrication, modification, demolishing conveyors, equipment, offices and other structures.

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and three years minimum experience as a Maintenance Tech in a related industry or one to two years' experience with a trade school.
