About the Role:
As a member of the tracked combat vehicle team, you will be joining a dynamic group of engineers responsible for development of a future tracked combat vehicle. Through leadership of a cross-functional team, the Crew Station Integrated Product Team (IPT) Lead will develop, implement and test the next generation of tracked combat vehicle crew station design.

Responsibilities to Anticipate/Expect:
  • Responsibility and influence over the crew station domain across the family of vehicle configurations
  • Ensures product is developed in accordance with GDLS engineering standards to achieve program requirements
  • Leads Crew Station IPT to deliver technical scope within project constraints (technical, schedule, cost and quality), and ensure internal and external customer expectations are met
  • Owns signature authority over related Crew Station IPT scope, schedule and budget
  • Collaborates with Project Engineering (PE) for development and technical execution of Integrated Master Schedule (IMS)
  • Responsible for Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS) Control Account and/or Activities for Crew Station Areas
  • Responsible for oversite, preparation, review and approval of project documentation (Design Reviews and CDRLs)
  • Leads Crew Station IPT designs and test activities and make trade/technical decisions in coordination with Project Leadership
  • Responsible for execution and management of design release to the Enterprise Release Plan (ERP)
  • Collaborates with PE in management of subcontract activities for Crew Station products. This includes development of product SOWs, requirements management, interface control, trades, design reviews, etc.
  • Ensures all product interfaces are identified, completely defined and managed to completion
  • Coordinates with functional departments and PE on related technical resource needs
  • Identifies potential risk and mitigation strategies; Manages risk mitigation within the Crew Station domain.
  • Performs other duties as signed


Minimum Qualifications / What You Must Have:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or similar degree
  • Experience in design and development of military vehicle crew stations
  • Experience in crew station products
  • Highly motivated performer
  • Works well in a team and individually
  • Strong communication, interpersonal and people skills required
  • IMS and control account management experience is preferred
  • EVMS knowledge is required
  • Ability to make decisions in a fast-paced dynamic environment


Additional Information:
  • This position requires eligibility to obtain a US security clearance. (Non-US Citizens may not be eligible to obtain a security clearance).
  • Able to work overtime when required.
  • Limited travel may be required.
  • Able to bring continuous improvement process and methodologies to the position.


Hybrid or Onsite:
  • Due to the nature of the work, this role does not offer a hybrid option.
