Clinical Research Assistant (HS)

To provide assistance in support of clinical research studies being conducted for the Spine Research Institute in partnership with the College of Medicine (COM) Center for Clinical Research Management (CCRM); assists with implementation and coordination of studies; participates in recruitment of study participants; performs behavioral or diagnostic testing; assists with collection maintenance amp; reporting of clinical research data.

Minimum Education Required

Bachelors Degree in biological sciences, health sciences or medical field, or equivalent combination of education experience.

Minimum Experience Required

No relevant experience is required.

Experience and Skills Desired

Experience in research capacity desired; knowledge or experience in specialty may be desired; experience in phlebotomy may be desired; experience performing basic laboratory procedures to process biological specimens may be desired; computer skill required with knowledge of database software applications desired.

Travel to other outpatient locations affiliated with The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center may be required. Travel within the Columbus metropolitan area may include New Albany, Dublin, Powell, and Martha Morehouse Pavillion near Upper Arlington.
