We are looking for you!

  • The ideal candidate would be located in the Odessa, Lubbock and Amarillo areas.

  • This role is 50-75% travel driving to 13 locations in West Texas as well as customer sites.

  • Base pay range: $70,000 to $90,000 annual

The Safety and Compliance Specialist ensures company compliance with environmental reporting and occupational safety by performing regular safety audits, new hire safety orientation, training and inspections of machinery, equipment and general working conditions.

  • Assist in the formulation of general safety policies and procedures in compliance with local, state, and federal Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) rules and regulations.

  • Provide counsel and direct facility compliance with OSHA, DOT and EPA Regulations.

  • Perform accident investigations for both vehicle accidents and personal injuries to determine immediate cause as well as root cause, implement changes to correct and prevent recurrence. Compile and submit reports required by company policy and regulatory agencies, as applicable.

  • Regularly inspect or tour facilities to identify existing or potential safety and health hazards, and recommends corrective or preventative measures when necessary

  • Conduct regular audits and reporting on findings to area and regional management teams.

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma/GED required

  • At least two years in a safety related role.

  • Proficient in Google suite applications and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)

  • Valid state driver's license

  • Must be able to lift 50-100 pounds.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree a plus

  • Previous hazmat DOT experience highly preferred

  • Previous gas and/or cylinder filling experience a plus

  • Intelex knowledge a plus

  • Multi-site location experience a plus
