Analyze financial data by collecting, monitoring and creating financial models for decision support. Improve financial status by analyzing results; monitoring variances; identifying trends; recommending actions to management. Assist with annual and quarterly forecasting. Performs other duties as assigned.

Key Accountabilities



  • Business Partnership

    • Act as a trusted advisor on capital allocation and investment decisions.
    • Partner with business leaders and transformation team to understand and document KPIs driving CBAs, which feed into the business cases.
    • Support cross-functional teams with financial insights for decision making.
    • Run CBA meetings to create a financial case that tells a comprehensive cost/value story that can drive decisions.
    • Incorporate KPIs and measurements into the CBA and drives appropriate conversations.
    • Create financial analysis for post-implementation reviews.
    • Run Finance portion of monthly business reviews for each program.


  • Financial Planning & Analysis

    • Lead program budget conversations with business partners, cross-functional FP&A partners and finance leadership.
    • Own rolling 12 month forecast programs, including a risk & opportunity schedule for each program.
    • Develop financial models to assess ROI, payback and program visibility using the CBA template as a guide.
    • Conducts scenario and sensitivity analysis to evaluate options.
    • Creates monthly accruals to ensure GAAP compliance.
    • Works with accounting and program teams to optimize capitalization for each program.
    • Reconcile FTE cost posting to programs.


  • Reporting & Insights


    • Provides monthly financial performance data and insights to each program team.



    • Provides program level monthly cross walk to forecast and budget by WD6 to Capital Controller.



    • Provides variance analysis to MTT team.



    • Ensure financial information is complete and available for all governance meetings at least 7 business days before the meeting.






Required Qualifications



  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in related field
  • 8 years of work experience beyond degree in progressively more responsible finance roles


Preferred Qualifications



  • Experience preparing and presenting financial data to executives.
  • Demonstrated ability to make thoughtful, data-driven decisions.
  • Ability to acted in a trusted advisory role, operating as a finance partner for business leaders.


This position is an Office role, which requires an employee to work onsite at our Minnetonka, MN office, on average, 4 days per week.

The full salary grade for this position is $100,300 - $172,000. While the full salary grade is provided, the typical hiring salary range for this role is expected to be between $100,300 - $143,300. Annual salary range placement will depend on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, education, work experience, applicable certifications and/or licensure, the position's scope and responsibility, internal pay equity and external market salary data.
