Are you passionate about enriching the lives of residents by bringing joy, purpose, and connection? We're looking for a compassionate Activities Assistant to join our Memory Care Neighborhood team in beautiful Middlebury, Vermont! Under the guidance of the Director of Activities, you'll design and lead both group and one-on-one activities that support the emotional, cognitive, and social needs of our wonderful residents.

Your work will help create a warm, engaging, and supportive environment-one where every resident feels valued, seen, and cared for. All activities are supervised in accordance with Vermont State Code.

Education & Experience
  • Experience working with older adults or in healthcare preferred but not required

  • High School Diploma required

Sunday-Thursday, late morning to mid-evening

Experience & Skills

  • Experience in Long-Term Care, Senior Living, or Dementia Care (preferred)
  • Strong organizational and planning abilities
  • A bubbly, upbeat personality
  • Creativity and passion for activity-based dementia care
  • Ability to identify residents' needs and create therapeutic, person-centered programs
  • Accurate documentation and computer proficiency
