Job Title: Logistics Analyst IV

Location: Greenville, TX

Minimum Clearance Required: Top Secret/SCI

This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret/SCI U.S. Government Security Clearance. U.S. Citizenship status is required, as this position necessitates an active U.S. Government Security Clearance for employment. Non-U.S. citizens are not eligible to obtain a U.S. security clearance. The Department of Defense Consolidated Adjudications Facility (DoD CAF), a federal government agency, handles the adjudicative aspects of the security clearance process for industry applicants. Adjudicative factors which affect the outcome of the eligibility determination include, but are not limited to, allegiance to the U.S., foreign influence, foreign preference, criminal conduct, security violations, and illegal drug use.

This position is responsible for Life Cycle Supply Chain Management, control, and analyzing, modification and sustainment for Very Important Person Special Airlift Mission (VIPSAM) fleet. Other responsibilities include working together with contractor and Big Safari program managers, program engineers, program integrators, systems, test, field service representative, procurements, material coordinators, and all depot and offsite logistics personnel. This position is part of a team supporting Big Safari Inventory (BSI) database depot and field level systems, enhancements, and continuous improvements.

Who You Are and What You Need:



  • Bachelor's Degree in related in related field or equivalent experience required, master's degree preferred.
  • TOP SECRET with Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) clearance required.
  • Minimum of five (5) years' experience in both military and commercial aircraft support and sustainability required.
  • Current in Air Force logistics, maintainability, and reliability support programs.
  • Hazardous materials certification.
  • Air Transportation or Air Terminal Operations certifications (military or civilian equivalent).
  • Broad knowledge of both Air Force and DoD supply chain deployment operating procedures.
  • Familiar with DoD support and information systems.
  • Demonstrated skill utilizing problem solving, effective communication, decision-making, and financial management abilities.



What You Will Do:



  • Manage a Department of Defense (DoD) special logistics account consisting of over 25,000-line items of material valued at over $400 million supporting multiple geographically separatedoperating units supporting specialized reconnaissance units, aircraft, and associated ground equipment.
  • Provide logistical, technical, and analytic support for AF and DoD Special Programs.
  • Evaluate prime contractors' technical and cost proposals statements of work for scope and validity for Air Force Program Management and Government Contract Officers.
  • Provide daily oversight and management of multiple contracts covering acquisition, services, and sustainment.
  • Provide daily oversight of all logistics functions to include sustainment, transportation, material procurement, manpower, and operations for 24 prime contractor personnel.
  • Determine requirements, review and approve procurement, conduct material inspections, and maintain liaison between all operating sites, major commands, and prime contractor.
  • Conduct technical evaluations of contractor's proposals to ensure operational, safety, test, and logistics requirements are met.
  • Evaluate long-term support feasibility, provide historical trend analysis, collect and analyze key performance parameters in accordance with defined operational requirements.
  • Provide logistical expertise and personnel training to prime contractor personnel in the use of the standard Air Force and Defense supply systems operations.
  • Other tasks/duties as assigned.
