Pay Rate: $17.00 per hour

(Additional $1.00 per hour for hours worked between 7:00pm and 11:59pm. Additional $2.00 per hour for hours worked between 12:00am-4:59am)

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Supplies the production lines with bags and pads if needed
• Grade and identify product for bagging that meet product specifications.
• Stuff gizzards, hearts, livers, and necks, into whole body birds.
• Place whole birds into bags one or multiple at a time.
• Determines the grade of the chicken and takes the chicken off the line. With pushing motion, places chicken into bag, then uses a platform to push legs into the breast and place on the conveyor
• Inspect for quality and place packed product into basket/tray at varying heights.

REQUIREMENTS

• Must be able to stand for long periods of time (8+hrs) on concrete/metal grate ergo stands or on the floor.
• Must be able to use small hand held tools such as knives or scissors.
• Able to visually inspect product and separate chicken.
• Repetitive grasping, pushing and pulling motions, torso twisting and lifting up to 35 pounds.
• Must be able to rotate to all positions on the bag line.
