DC Metro (Hybrid) Pay From: $155,000 Per Year MUST Business Development Manager Clearable 10+ years of business development and federal sales experience and successfully built multi-year, complex partnerships and have proven year-over year growth. Proven experience in solutions-oriented sales including data, IT platforms, software and services. Successful sales experience in one or more of the following Federal Civilian and National security entities: DOJ, State Department, HHS, Treasury, DHS. Familiarity with the Federal environment including planning, budget and execution processes, and acquisition strategies. Demonstrated knowledge and skills with sales / CRM tools and reporting, i.e., GOVWIN, Salesforce, Govtribe, Highergov, FPDS, etc. Project management skills, ability to deliver quality results under pressure and to meet deadlines, must be results oriented with a drive for excellence. Exemplary organizational skills, e.g., accuracy, timeliness and detail-oriented on with the ability to work well under pressure managing multiple ac vi es and mee ng established goals in a deadline-driven environment. Successful experience monitoring and evaluating personal progress against stated expectations, in addition to aligning and changing behavior with performance expectations. Bachelor's degree or higher in a work-related field. DUTIES BD Manager will lead the full lifecycle of sales activities required to gain new services contracts centered around core capabilities of data, cyber and IT modernization. Collaborate with technical SMEs to develop and execute effective strategic solutions for new and existing customers aligned with federal mission requirements. Target, establish, build upon, and maintain highly effective relationships with the Government executives, Program Managers, contract management offices and industry partners that drive business growth Lead team efforts throughout the sales funnel beginning with opportunity identification, qualification, capture and proposal and resulting in closed new business. Negotiate strategic and tactical (opportunity-based) teaming relationships with industry partners. Be the voice of the customer in all Corporate proposals Coordinate all customer-related communications and activities with Corporate stakeholders, including meetings and conference calls. Own and maintain a sustainable 18-month pipeline, providing analysis, forecasting, and strategic assessment of all opportunities to ensure alignment with corporate and portfolio growth strategy. Provide accurate weekly, monthly and quarterly sales forecasting reports to the business development team and others, as necessary. Monitor effectiveness of industry events and participation and maintain lead log. Participate in business planning and capture activities including networking, research, and analysis to make strategic, informed viable go/no go decisions for new opportunities. Contribute experience working with a variety of business leaders to create and manage account growth strategies and plans. Effectively collaborate, prepare and present information to prospects, strategic business partners, executive management, public groups, and/or boards of directors/investors.
